DLL Financial Solution
Accept DLL Finance payments at checkout
Where to find it: Admin → Payments → Add Processor → DLL Financial Solution
When you'd use this: You're a B2B merchant offering financing options to registered business customers who have DLL Finance accounts. Customers can pay for orders and invoices using their pre-approved financing lines.
What you need first:
- DLL API credentials (client ID and client secret)
- A customer custom field configured to store each customer's DLL dealer code
- Customer data synced from your ERP system, including DLL account numbers
Set it up:
- Go to Admin → Payments and add DLL Financial Solution as a payment processor.
- Enter your DLL API credentials.
- Map a customer custom field to the DLL account number field. This field should contain the DLL dealer code synced from your ERP.
- Save the configuration.
Using it day-to-day:
When registered B2B customers with a DLL account number in their custom field reach checkout, they'll see "Pay with DLL Finance Solution" as a payment option. Here's what happens:
- The customer selects this option and submits payment.
- The system sends the customer's account number and order total to DLL for approval.
- If DLL responds with "Approved," the order is placed and sent to your ERP.
- If DLL responds with any other status including "Pending," the order is not placed. The customer sees: "Your DLL request was unsuccessful. Please contact DLL." Their cart items remain saved so they can retry or choose another payment method.
B2C customers, guest checkout users, and B2B customers without a DLL account number cannot use this payment method. Customers without a DLL account number will see: "DLL Finance Solution is not available for your account."
Troubleshooting:
- Customer doesn't see DLL as a payment option — Verify the customer has a DLL dealer code populated in the mapped custom field. Check that customer data has synced from your ERP.
- Payment fails even though customer has DLL account — The customer should contact DLL directly to verify their account status and available credit. DLL may have declined the transaction on their end.
- Order wasn't created after customer clicked Pay — DLL did not return an "Approved" response. Only approved transactions result in order creation. The customer needs to contact DLL or select a different payment method.
